I have to measure the distance between two arduino's. I wanted to do this by measuring the RSSI strength and noting down the distance which belong to the signal strength.

I just can't figure out how I can measure the RSSI strength between two ble arduino's. How should I do this?

I just tried this using this procedure. I was able to get the slave into remote control mode with "AT+MODE2", but that's about it. The command "AT+RSSI?" does not work :-( I was already afraid for this, because the command is also missing from the data sheet.

  • I read in the data sheet that the command AT+ALL let's it print all the configuration information for the BLE configuration. Would this also print the RSSI value? – Calvin Haring Jun 15 at 14:13

If you cannot get it to work, I can lend you one or more HM-10 bluetooth modules if you would like to try that...
