on your website you say:

For the following assignments, it is important that you have practiced with Eclipse and the examples, for instance from one of the books. Therefore, as an extra practice do the exercise in appendix 1, which explains how to use an example from the book in Eclipse.

We do not have a book. In the videos, you explain that we first need to read before we do the assignments. Do you mean the description of how to do the assignment or are there additional things we need to read?

Yes, the books are no longer used, but the examples from the books are still in the zip-file. And there are many examples online. More will be introduced in lessons to come. And there are many examples in the tutorials I recommended. Eg. this one about the Dog class.

With "first need to read" I meant, read the assignment texts ahead: read one or two paragraphs, then try to do that part. Sometimes explaining things can not be done in 1 or 2 lines.
