Final Code Arduino

Question

Should we keep just the final if statement with AND condition in the code? or do we have to also keep the previous “if statement” with one condition but may be just as comments with “//“ ?? Like to show the changes we made. Or just the final code with the modifications already made. ?

Just the final code is fine. But do not forget to add comments to the code you wrote to explain in your own words how the code works.
